Wow, the bass is fantastic, I can start playing my Tobias again!

Pete Bacanin (Nearly Dan), who abandoned his Tobias bass due to the assymetric neck shape making his thumb ache, which I alleviated by shaving and reprofiling the neck slimmer.

We met some time ago when you fitted a Fishman to my Takamine. Steve Travis told me that you were back and that you were collecting his dobro from his shop on Wednesday. I have a Baby Taylor that needs a set up (action lowering and intonation correcting) - if I leave it with Steve would you be able to collect it along with his instrument?

Thanks for doing the setup on my Yamaha SG - it was a bit of a pig, as the previous owner had messed with the truss rod and buggered it up. It plays much better now.
Also, cheers for doing the previous setup and pick-up replacement on my 335 copy, it was a great job.

I'm absolutely delighted with the result - its exactly the right shade and I particurlarly like the way you kept the thickness down to allow the wood to resonate. A few weeks ago my friend Keith Turner and I brought you some guitars which you dealt with excellently. One of them was my Kramer which wouldn't hold its tuning. You recommended new machine heads, which I've fitted (Grover) and it now stays in tune but strings which are tuned correctly at the open position go sharp when fretted, and the nut seems to "grab" the strings. Can the slots in the nut be widened and lowered to see if this might solve the problem or at least improve it? If you can do it are there any days in the next couple of weeks when you would not be available if I came to you on the same while-u-wait basis as the last visit? Clearly, I'll either ring or e-mail in advance to arrange a firm day and time but when not to come would be valuable info.
